We understand not everyone has an experienced friend to guide them through roleplaying. So, we created the Tales of the Valiant Starter Set to be that friend. Whether you’re a novice Game Master or new player, no one in your group needs experience to run this set.

Got a little roleplaying experience? You’re in luck, too. Tales of the Valiant (ToV) uses something called the Black Flag Roleplaying system, which is fully compatible with Fifth Edition Dungeons & Dragons (5E). So, if you’ve played 5E D&D, you’ll feel right at home.
